Hi Fellow LAs out there! I've been posting a lot lately about how disconnected I've been feeling from my HP lately, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and am trying a new mini-HP exercise in the morning. I will post my progress on it. I'm committing to doing it for thirty days.
Okay-so here's the experiment: I decided to write down 30 things about myself that I believe to be true, but have a hard time accepting and practicing/embracing, because of LA/codependency. These are positive statements I made such as "I am worthy", "I am loveable" and "I am free" etc.. Thirty of them.
I also decided to find 30 inspiring quotes online that resonate with me-or I enjoy them. I wrote them down. These are quotes around growth, change and motivation.
I took the I am statements and put them on little pieces of folded paper and put them into a little jar. I did the same with the quotes in a separate jar. Each morning, I am going to ask my HP to help me pick a statement and a quote of the day, which will act as a mantra and will be something I can focus on.
I am eager to start this new activity and will be doing this for 30 days. Wish me luck and if it has good effect, perhaps its something you may want to try too!
